Meet our Crew

• Tara is the independent regional director for Miss Hawaiian Tropic International Model Search in Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, and Mississippi. She has been involved in pageants and modeling since the age of 13, and has been a part of hundreds of pageants either as a contestant or director.  Tara was Miss Kentucky/Ohio Hawaiian Tropic in 2002 and Miss Michigan Hawaiian Tropic in 2003 before taking over the directorship for Kentucky Hawaiian Tropic in 2004.

• Slone is from Lexington, Kentucky and has been involved in pageants since the age of 15 and has been a professional model since the age of 17. She has appeared in fashion shows, print ads and commercials. Slone is married and has 3 children. 

    

    

• Frank is our judging coordinator and has been involved with beauty pageants for nearly 15 years.  Some of the pageants he’s worked with are Miss Hawaiian Tropic, Miss American Dream, Miss Jefferson County (KY), and Miss Caesars Indiana. His experience includes all aspects of these pageants. In his non-pageant life, Frank is a Certified Project Manager with a large healthcare company in Louisville, Kentucky.  
  

    

• Cory (Emcee, DJ, and stage hypnotist) is from Louisville, KY and has performed all over the nation. He has performed for groups as small as 50 and as large as 50,000. His professional experience and articulate voice provides a show like no other. Some of the pageants he's worked with are Miss Caesar's Indiana, Hawaiian Tropic Preliminaries Louisville, KY, Miss Hawaiian Tropic Int'l Model Search State Finals IN at Horseshoe Casino, Miss Hawaiian Tropic Int'l Model Search Mid South Regionals Tunica MS, and the KY State Finals for Miss Hawaiian Tropic Model Search.
